The Roof Coatings Manufacturers Association’s committees play a vital role in advancing the association’s mission and supporting the success of its members. Comprised of industry professionals and subject matter experts, these committees provide leadership and guidance on key issues affecting the roof coatings industry, including technical standards, regulatory and legislative developments, member engagement, education, and industry communications. Through collaboration, advocacy, and the development of valuable resources, RCMA committees help strengthen the industry and create meaningful opportunities for member involvement and professional growth.
CMEC | Communications, Membership & Education Committee
The Communications, Membership & Education Committee helps strengthen and grow the RCMA community by overseeing member engagement, recruitment and retention efforts, industry communications, and educational programming. Through its Communications and Membership & Program Task Forces, the committee works to keep members informed, connected, and engaged while delivering valuable networking and learning opportunities.
TAC | Technical Affairs Committee
The Technical Affairs Committee serves as the technical resource hub for the RCMA, addressing issues that impact the coatings industry. The committee monitors and advocates on codes and standards, advances sustainability initiatives, identifies and fills technical data gaps, and develops research and guidance documents that support informed decision-making and industry best practices.
GAC | Government Affairs Committee
The Government Affairs Committee monitors legislative and regulatory developments at both the state and federal levels and advocates on behalf of the RCMA and its member companies. Through its task forces and regulatory initiatives, the committee works to ensure the industry's interests are represented on key issues including VOC regulations, hazard communication requirements, and broader legislative and regulatory matters affecting roof coatings manufacturers.
